You can change the appearance of a horizontal line by specifying: • the line thickness • the space above the line • the width of the line • the color of the line • whether the line is visible. You can specify the formatting that you want to use as a default paragraph style. To do this: 1       Select a paragraph. 2       Choose Format > Format Paragraphs. 3       Update the Format Paragraphs form. 4       Click Save as Default. To apply these defaults to a paragraph, click Use Default on the Format Paragraphs form.
